Points to note

While you are entering into a tripartite agreement with the builder, ensure that a) the date of possession is clearly stated in the agreement, b) there is a clause that states that a penalty will be imposed on the developer, and c) the amount of penalty (either percentage of the value of property, the EMI of the loan being paid, or a fixed amount) is clearly mentioned in the agreement.
