1. MyGov (MyGovIndia)
This is one of the most popular apps among the masses. The fundamental idea of this is to crowdsource ideas from citizens. It is more of a citizenengagement platform for direct participation in governance. It gives individuals an avenue for channelising their ideas, comments, and creative suggestions to central ministries and associated organisations. Citizens can participate in policy formulation and programme implementation to usher in an era of direct participatory democracy.
2. IRCTC Connect (IRCTC Official)
In a country with one of the world’s largest rail networks and the highest number of people commuting by trains on everyday basis, this app was much needed. This feature-rich app helps users search and book/cancel train tickets from smartphones. It gives regular journey alerts and retains passenger information so that the user need not fill up same personal details again and again to book tickets. And yes, it has nearly eliminated the agent network.
3. mPassport Seva
