Protein-Rich Food Supplements How much protein do they pack?

-

“Our cells engage in protein production, and many of those proteins are enzymes responsible for the chemistry of life.” ~ Randy Schekman,Nobel Prize-winningAmerican cell biologist

Protein is a critical part of our diet. We need it to build and repair cells, and make muscles, organs, glands, and skin. Everyone needs a minimum amount of protein each day. It is important to maintain a balanced diet chart that includes healthy and natural protein-rich foods. That, though, is easier said than done. Keeping a tab on meeting one’s daily requirement for protein and other nutrients needs constant effort. More often than not, one is unable to meet the protein, micronutrient, and fibre requirements due to poor fruit vegetable, pulse, and whole grain consumption. And if that is the case, supplementing one’s diet with protein can make a difference to overall fitness and wellbeing. The recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for protein is a modest 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight, or 0.36 grams per pound
