Total Ash

As per FSS Regulations, total ash content, excluding added common salt (on dry basis), in custard powder shall not be more than 0.5 per cent. Total ash was found within the prescribed limit in all the brands. The least amount was found in Shree Krishna, followed by Brown & Polson.
