Internet Safety Workshops

In order to empower consumers on Internet safety, Consumer VOICE in collaboration with Google and various state partners organised state-level Internet safety workshops at Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh (UT), and Shimla. The main objective of the workshops was to provide training and information on online safety tools available and to share knowledge on various online security aspects.

Road Safety Initiative

As part of the Voice team’s ongoing advocacy efforts for road safety, they submitted a petition to Minister of Road Transport & Highways and Shipping Shri Nitin Gadkari for an immediate introduction of the Road Safety Bill in the monsoon session. At the state level, Voice’s partners have submitted petition to transport ministers of the respective states, and copies have been sent to Shri Nitin Gadkari.

Car Safety Initiative

Consumer Voice in collaboration with Consumers International and various state partners organised car safety workshops in 15 states across India. This was part of a global campaign by Consumer International to demand for safer cars for consumers. Consumer demand for safer cars will push for better safety regulation and standards in India, at par with global safety standards.
