INSTEAD SAY: Nothing. Give her a big hug. “Not everybody wants to hear ‘I’m so sorry’,” says Melbourne-based psychologist Dr Elizabeth Celi. “Sometimes you just need to listen. Let your friend know they can talk to you about anything,” says Dr Celi.
