MATTHEW MORRISON “I LOVED WATCHING CAMERON’S BUTT!”
e hunk Matthew Morrison talks about his new film What to Expect When You’re Expecting, dancing with Cameron Diaz in the film and how he wants to have kids of his own.
Cosmo: So what interested you in this movie?
Matthew Morrison: “They said, ‘You are going to play opposite Cameron Diaz’, I was like ‘Okay!’” ( laughs)
C: Did you get on well with Diaz?
MM: “Everyone has this vision of what Cameron Diaz is like and she does not disappoint. She is the most effervescent, just beautiful, loving, and amazing human being and I love that I can call her my friend.”
C: Did you enjoy showing the male perspective of pregnancy in this film?
MM: “In every pregnancy, there is a man’s point of view. A lot of men could think, ‘ Oh, I don’t really have much say in this because she is the one carrying the baby.’ But once she is not carrying anymore, that is your responsibility. I think men do have a voice and I love the part of the movie where the men all get together in the park. Like they need to get away from their wives and have their man codes and it is really great. It’s funny because the movie is written by women, but there’s a strong male voice in it.”
C: Do you want to have children?
MM: “Yeah, I am definitely looking forward to having children of my own. It is all about finding the right person to have children with. I am on the hunt, on a mission to find her.”
C: The film is based on a self-help book. If you were to write a self-help book what would it be on? What are you are expert on?
MM: “I guess I’m an expert at skydiving.”
