Peter Pan Collar
Shruti Jain ( beautify-flr.blogspot.com) took on the task of creating a multipurpose collar in three simple steps.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1/2 meter velvet. 1/2 meter canvas cloth for lining.
1 yard matching ribbon.
Needle, thread, buttons and scissors.
STEPS
1. Cut out two half- moon patterns from paper, then cut that shape out of velvet and canvas cloth using the paper patterns.
2. Once cut, sew the canvas and velvet together without interlocking the front end. You could also use decorative buttons to sew the pieces together.
3. Sew the two pieces together to form the base of your collar. Cut two lengths of ribbon, 12-15cms each, and sew one string on each of the smaller ends of the collar you’ve just created.
