RANKED AMONG THE TOP ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT INSTITUTES OF INDIA
G.L. Bajaj has been ranked among the Top Two Hundred Engineering Colleges of India including IITs, NITs and RECs as per National Institutional Ranking Framework 2018 issued by MHRD, Govt. of India and released by Hon’ble Minister of HRD Sh. Prakesh Javadekar. This is the second time in a row that G.L. Bajaj Institute has made its presence among the Top Two Hundred Engineering Institutes of the country. This year again, G.L. Bajaj has also been bestowed with the Best Engineering College in North India Award. The award was given by Honorable Minister of State for HRD, Govt. of India, Dr. Satya Pal Singh. Not only engineering, but recently G.L. Bajaj has also been conferred with The Best Management College in North India for Teaching Excellence, 2018 Award. The award was conferred by Prof. A. P. Mittal (Member Secretary, AICTE). The institute has been constantly listed amongst the top institutes of India for differentiating itself from others in the terms of academics and placements.

• International Acclaim
Abdul & Vishal, students of Mechanical engineering at G.L. Bajaj got selected at world’s number one technical institute Massachusetts Institute of Technology for Global Entrepreneurship Boot Camp, 2018. This highly sought after boot camp attracts applications from all over the world and the average selection rate is only 0.13% globally. This boot-camp is in operations since 2014 and only 381 students have made to it globally till date. The selection process is based on two exhaustive rounds consisting both written and video interview.
• National Fame
G.L. Bajaj is the only engineering college in UP to win the first prize and cash amount Rs. 1 lakh in Smart India Hackathon 2018 organized by MHRD & AICET, Govt. of India. This mega event attracted around 10368 Participants, 1296 Teams including IITs, RECS and NITS, 36 Hours of non-stop coding at 28 centers across the country. Kajal Srivastava demonstrated her project to Hon’ble Prime Minister of India at a national level program iCreate held at Gujarat. Her project was among the only five projects selected from all over the country for demonstration and she has also received a grant of Rs. 10 lacs from Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India to further work on her project.

The institute has been maintaining its positions amongst the top three in AKTU university results. In the merit list of 2016-17 issued by AKTU, G.L. Bajaj has made a hat trick with three silver medals won by Kavya Garg-CS, Sugandha Biswas- IT & Tanzeem Fatima-MBA respectively.
