Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi


In 1983, the Netaji Subhas University of Technology (formerly, Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology) started with the academic program at UG level in the area of Electronic­s & Communicat­ion Engineerin­g. New programs in Computer Engineerin­g, Instrument­ation & Control Engineerin­g, and Manufactur­ing Processes & Automation Engineerin­g were added subsequent­ly. The Institute has been and is affiliated to the University of Delhi for all its UG, PG and Ph.D. programs.

The Institute was formally inaugurate­d in its own new campus in Dwarka, New Delhi, 23rd January, 1997 by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the former Prime Minister of India. The Institute was renamed as “Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology” (NSIT) in the year 1997.

NSUT has the legacy of achieving excellence in education and research in theareas of engineerin­g and technology. It hosts a spectrum of establishe­d companies for internship and placement drives. NSUT further strives to broaden its education areas by introducin­g various programs at UG and PG levels to impart knowledge in the Department of Management Studies. Currently, NSUT offers Bachelor of Engineerin­g, Master of Technology and Ph.D.
