Pattabhi bailed tainted cop too

In their confessions, cashfor-bail scam accused, retired judge T.V. Chalapathi Rao and arrested CBI special judge T. Pattabhi Rama Rao’s son T. Ravi Chandra, have stated that Pattabhi Rao had earlier granted bail to tainted officer on special duty M. Sarveshwar Reddy by taking a bribe of `10 lakh.

Sarveshwar Reddy had been arrested by the ACB in a `5-crore disproportionate investments case.

Chalapathi Rao also said that Rama Rao had told him that before he had approached the CBI judge, AP Election Commission legal secretary D. Prabhakar Rao had approached them regarding granting bail to mining scam accused Gali Janardhan Reddy.
