SAND AUCTIONS FETCH `45.13 CRORE

The sand auctions in East Godavari district on Saturday fetched a record `45.13 crore for 11 of the 12 reaches.

The highest bidding price was for Ravulapalem reach at `10 crore against the upset price of `98.4 lakh.

Vemagiri reach fetched `8 crore against the upset price of `68.46 lakh, Muggulla reach earned `5.06 crore against the upset price of `96 lakh.

Atreyapuram reach was bid for 8.01 crore, Kapileswarapuram `6.07 crore, Kotipalli `5.01 crore, Korumilli `2.73 crore, Ankampalem `4.10 crore, Bodasakurru `0.24 crore, Pallamkurru `26 lakh, Appannapalli `1.30 crore and Sompalli fetched 43 lakh.
