ADARSH SCAM: CHAVAN BLAMES DESHMUKH

Shifting the blame back on Vilasrao Deshmukh, former Maharashtra chief minister Ashok Chavan on Saturday claimed that the decision to allot government land to the Adarsh Cooperative Society was entirely Mr Deshmukh’s, who was the CM from 1999 to 2003. Appearing before the inquiry commission, he denied having taken the decision.
