Why not send cards of family in 1 cover?
My
family members enrolled for Aadhaar cards on December 3, 2011. Only one member of the family received the card in March, while the cards of the other two have not been dispatched yet. Their enrolments numbers are 1027/00793/00xxx and 1027/00793/00xxx. It makes one wonder as to how the process is being carried out. Moreover, the department complains that 50 per cent of the cards are being returned by the postal department for want of correct addresses, which is strange. They can process the cards based on the enrolment numbers and dispatch them in a single envelope for the same family so that postal charges can be saved.

family enrolled for Aadhaar cards in September 2011 (enrolment No.s 1093/20063/39940, 39943, 39946, 39941, 39942, 39944 and 39945). However, we have not received the cards yet. Iregistered for Aadhaar card on September 14, 2011 (enrolment No. 1171/00285/06937). I sent emails to the UIDAI authorities, who said that the Aadhaar number has been generated and the card would be dispatched by Speedpost soon. However, I have not received the card.
