Surya Mallu took 5 for 71 as Pasha Beedi beat Ours in an ‘A’ division two-day league cricket match played here.

Batting first, Pasha Beedi scored 308/8. In reply, Ours made 188 as Surya shone with the ball.

In another match, Prince Ojha scalped 5/20 to guide MCC to victory against Nizam College. Taking first strike, MCC scored 281. In reply, Nizam folded up for 86. Prince led the way with the ball.

Venus Cyber Tech’s Munnawar (5/69) and Zinda’s Avinash Kumar Singh (6/56) also had a good day at office. The match, however, ended in Venus’ favour as they beat Zinda by 15 runs.

In the ‘ A’ Division threeday league, Naveen Kumar and Rohit Rayudu impressed with the bat.

Naveen scored 118 as Falaknuma drew with State Bank of Hyderabad. Earlier, Rohit made 151 as SBH declared their first innings at 302 for 9.
