Groom held for bigamy; actor’s daughter says she was drugged

Actor Kavitha’s daughter’s wedding episode got more mysterious on Saturday as the Panjagutta police arrested the newly-wed bridegroom after a woman, who claimed to be his wife, lodged a complaint.

Kavitha’s daughter, Madhuri, had eloped with a car driver named A. Rajkumar on Wednesday and had married him at the Venkateswara Swamy temple in Peddappalli, Karimnagar, on Thursday. On Saturday, it came to light that Rajkumar, a native of Huzurabad, already had two wives.
