Hy­der­abad: The Pres­i­dent on Wed­nes­day ap­pointed Jus­tice T. Meena Ku­mari, judge of the Patna High Court, as the Chief Jus­tice of the newly con­sti­tuted Meghalaya High Court. Jus­tice Meena Ku­mari is the first woman from Andhra Pradesh to hold the post of Chief Jus­tice. She hails from Ye­la­man­chili vil­lage of Visakha­p­at­nam and is the grand­daugh­ter of late Pad­masri Venkataswamy Naidu, a fa­mous vi­o­lin­ist. Af­ter B.Sc., she got a law de­gree from the Os­ma­nia Univer­sity.
