AP’S MEENA KUMARI IS MEGHALAYA CJ
Hyderabad: The President on Wednesday appointed Justice T. Meena Kumari, judge of the Patna High Court, as the Chief Justice of the newly constituted Meghalaya High Court. Justice Meena Kumari is the first woman from Andhra Pradesh to hold the post of Chief Justice. She hails from Yelamanchili village of Visakhapatnam and is the granddaughter of late Padmasri Venkataswamy Naidu, a famous violinist. After B.Sc., she got a law degree from the Osmania University.
