Indane dealer fails to act

Bindu Shakthi fails to correct my changed surname

-

Ihave an LPG connection with Indian Oil Corporation (consumer No. 15149) with Bindu Shakthi Gas Service. My surname is S.

The dealer has changed my surname to R. and uploaded in Indane consumer list as R. Seshagiri Rao. Due to this, I am unable to submit my Aadhaar card to avail subsidy.

On January 2, 2013 I noticed this error and approached the dealer and submitted a written request with all required documentary evidence.

Initially they reacted positively but failed to act. Later, on January 9, I approached the IOCL area office (customer care and controller for Indane gas distributors for the twin cities) in Himayathnagar with all original DGCC and SV for inspection and change of surname as per original documents.

They examined my papers and endorsed the required name correction permission on my papers.

These papers were submitted to the distributor on the same date. But the dealer still failed to act. On February 14, I approached the area office who again endorsed on my papers and signed for rectification and telephoned the distributor in my presence and guided him to make the necessary change. But till date, the distributor has ignored the requests. The deadline for submission of Aadhaar card is very close. I request Indane to change my surname as per DGCC/SV.

S. Seshagiri Rao, Plot No. 155, Portion No. 1, Pragathinagar, behind Dr A.S. Rao Nagar, Hyderabad-500062 9966478670
