HMDA sits on LRS application

This is in regard to LRS approval of my plot from HMDA, Medchal zonal office.

I had submitted an application for my plot, to avail the LRS scheme and get approval of unauthorised layouts at HMDA, Medchal Zonal Office, in November 2012.

All the required documents, along with the penalty amount had been paid at the time of submission of application.

I went to the HMDA, Medchal zonal office, to know the status of the file, but came to know that the file process had not been started and the status shows that it is in circulation, even after five months.

The Medchal zonal office persons are not concerned about the same and expecting huge amounts as bribe for clearance. There are quite a few people who come to the office for regularisation of their plots and they too are face the same

problem. The staff are least interested to clear the files from their respective tables, unless they are bribed.

They ask for bribes without any fear, a continuous process right from attenders to some higher officials. I request the zonal officer, Medchal and Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA to look into the matter and clear the pending files. Sameera, Plot No. 302, Kavuri Hills, Ravindra
