Helping the needy
he past week was a busy one for the volunteers at Street Cause, a student run NGO, in Hyderabad. Street Cause unit at Vasavi College of Engineering, celebrated an eco-friendly Diwali and visited an old age home, an orphanage, and also distributed 200 pollution masks and earthen lamps.
At GRIET, a medical and health awareness camp was organised by the students belonging to the Women Empowerment team of Street Cause. Aishwarya Busi, the vice-president of the team, said, “The medical camp was for the service staff and we had health specialists who conducted sessions to educate them.”
