ECcautions Jana Sena on party registration

- DC CORRESPONDENT HYDERABAD, MARCH 13

The Election Commission has cautioned that other political parties might object to the announcement of Jana Sena as a political party without obtaining valid registration from the Commission. Mr Brahma added that candidates who did not belong to any registered political party would be treated as independents.

A falling out in the family of actor-turnedpolitician and Union tourism minister K. Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan’s elder brother, has also come to the fore. Their other brother, actor Nagababu has announced that he will support elder brother Chiranjeevi over younger sibling Pawan. Significantly, it was with Nagababu’s support that Pawan was said to have fought against and distanced himself from Chiranjeevi.

Meanwhile, the Pawan’s camp is confident that the fan base of the entire Chiranjeevi family by and large will extend support to Jana Sena.

“The fans associations have organised 27 huge LED screens across the state, both in Telangana and Seemandhra, besides in Che- nnai and Bengaluru,” said Pawan’s media managers.

In addition to this, fan associations have also booked cinema halls for live screening of the Jana Sena launching.

Arrangements have also been made to web telecast the event so that Pawan’s fans around the globe can witness the launch, they added.
