Angry Desam slams Jagan for remark on Naidu’s age

- DC CORRESPONDENT HYDERABAD, APRIL 11

In an angry rebuttal to YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s interview that appeared in

Deccan Chronicle on Friday, senior Telugu Desam leader Yanamala Ramakrishundu said that Mr Reddy’s comments against Mr Naidu only showed his arrogance borne out of ill-gotten money and ignorance about administration and politics.

The TD rejoinder also indulged in character assassination. However, we bring forth points related to the interview.

Hitting out at Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mr Ramakrishnudu said: “He is a Lilliput in stature compared to Mr Chandrababu Naidu. His tall talks about his confidence of being the CM and building a new capital are castles in the air. His comment against Mr Naidu as outdated is most uncharitable to say the least when the whole world and the country have recognised Naidu’s contribution and his vision and mission for Information Technology.”

“Jagan Mohan Reddy’s vision of developing the state and his proposals to build the new capital city and other infrastructure are nothing but copied from the TD manifesto. His 11-point agenda has nothing that can promote rapid growth and development.”

Senior Telugu Desam leader Yanamala Ramakrishundu taunted YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s vision for development of a new state.

“While the vision of Chandrababu Naidu is to develop Seemandhra into Singapore, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy may have the vision to mortgage Seemandhra to Singapore,” Mr Yanamala stated.

“Jagan Mohan Reddy’s statement that he will support anybody except the Congress, once again exposes his capacity to turn back on any statement given by him for the sake of his selfish interests. This statement is clearly made out of a calculated move of wooing the political party which is likely to come to power in Delhi with an eye to seek asylum against the pending cases of colossal corruption and violations of the laws of the land,” he added.
