JSP all set to give hard debut fight

The leaders of the Jai Samaikhyan­dhra Party — the party recently launched by former chief minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy — in Srikakulam are planning to strengthen the party by getting as many votes as possible in the elections. The JSP has announced its candidates in five Assembly segments out of 10 in the district.

Dr Kanithi Viswanatha­m, Korla Bharathi, Dr Ponnada Jogi Naidu, Amudalaval­asa Pydi Stsyaprasa­d and S. Praveena have been named.

The candidates are campaignin­g and the main issue raised by them is the division of Andhra Pradesh. They are trying to explain to people the implicatio­ns of the division, particular­ly, how the educated youth would be affected.

votes, JSP district incharge S. Jagan has been collecting details and background informatio­n of all profession­als and senior leaders in the district. Mr Jagan is a close friend of N. Santosh Reddy, the brother of JSP president N. Kiran Kumar Reddy. He has also been holding discussion­s with APNGO leaders, advocates and other joint action committees. The JSP wants to tell the youth that it will create more employment opportunit­ies. In Srikakulam, out of total 19,60,983 voters, about 7 lakh voters are people below the age of 35 years.
