MAN ENDS LIFE OVER WIFE’S AFFAIR

- HYDERABAD, APRIL 13

Suspecting his wife’s infidelity, a man committed suicide at his house in Rajiv Gruhakalpa, in Jeedimetla, on Saturday. The victim was identified as

Mallesh. His wife allegedly had an extra marital affair with another man. Mallesh, who saw them in a compromising position, had confronted her over this issue. The couple had

frequent fights. After one such argument, she left home with the children. Depressed over this,

Mallesh ended his life. According to B. Ramesh, sub-inspector of police, Jeedimetla, Mallesh who

used to work for a private firm in Balanagar, found his wife having an

affair with one Sailu. He confronted her over this

and they argued frequently. However, though everything seemed fine for while, they had started arguing all over again. Mallesh confronted her again, but she denied the

affair. She then left the house with their children, a

couple of days ago. “He was alone and was depressed and he committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan, in the house. The neighbours alerted us. His uncle lodged a complaint and alleged that it was due to the extra-marital affair of his wife that Mallesh

killed himself,” said Mr Ramesh said. A suspicious death case was registered,

under Section 174 of the CrPC. The body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital and

was handed over to the victim’s family after a

post mortem.
