When I got back to my hotel I found my Ipad Flex 14 laptop damaged Indigo, pay for my damaged luggage

-

Iam writing this complaint to let the public know the way Indigo Airlines is treating its passengers. The customer service is hopeless.

I was forced to check in my luggage in the flight in which I travelled on April 7. To my surprise when I got back to my hotel in Kolkata I found my Lenova Ipad Flex 14 touch laptop damaged and its screen broken.

I called the helpline No. 1800 and complained to the CSE Pravez. He refused to take my complaint and asked me to go to the airport and complain. I sent a mail to the CEO of Indigo Mr Aditya Ghosh asking him to look into the matter and compensate for the damage.

His secretary Pratima informed Ms that

According to Indigo, all customers should open and check their belongings and leave the airport only everything is in place.

they are investigating the issue. Next day, Ms Pratima said that as per rules of Indigo whenever a passenger travels he has to open his baggage, check if anything is damaged or not, and then if something is damaged, he has to report to the airport authorities then and there to make a claim. If we leave the airport without checking, they do not take any responsibility for the damages.

So according to Indigo, all customers should open and check their belongings and leave the airport only everything is in place.

This is the second time, my luggage was handled badly. At first they broke my bag, now my laptop.

Even though I told the official in charge that I wanted to carry my laptop, he refused to listen, and asked me to put it in the baggage.

My laptop is brand new. Its LCD has been damaged and I want Indigo to replace it immediately.

I request Mr Ghosh to investigate my case thoroughly and compensate me. It is clear that my case is a definite example of carelessness by the airlines. My PNR No. ZYYO8Q Flight 6E 351 Travel date: April 7, 2014 Durga Prasad Madasu
