Nitesh, Mustaba, Amrith, Sai shine
Nitesh Kondaniya, P. K. Mustaba, Amrith Yadav and Sai Kiran emerged top performers in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s two-league action on Monday. While the first two excelled with the ball, the latter two hit a century each.
Nitesh of Mega City took 5 for 56 to restrict National to a modest 219 on the first day of their two-day game.
The match between Budding Stars and Apex threw up the other three performers. Amrith (103) and Sai Kiran (111) propped up the Stars to a formidable 413 even as Mustaba carried the burden for Apex to take 5 wickets while conceding 133 runs.
In the inter-districts under-14 semifinals, K. Hima Teja of Adilabad came up with an allround show. He first hit 110 to guide his side to 259 for 4 and then took 5 wickets while conceding 28 runs to bundle Khammam out for a mere 124. Brief scores:
