Civil babu goes fully online

An IAS officer in AP succeeded in implementing 100 per cent electronic file system in his department after he decided to only sign files coming to him online.

AP chief secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao and AP government IT adviser J. Satyanarayana appreciated AP civil supplies department commissioner B. Rajasekhar for achieving this feat.

AP chief secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao reviewed the implementation of e-file system in government departments on Saturday during a meeting of secretaries that was attended by IT adviser Satyanarayana. At present, the government is implementing e file system in 12 departments. AP civil supplies, law, finance, information technology, agriculture, SC, ST, BC and minority welfare departments and others are implementing e file system.

Civil supplies commissioner Rajasekhar gave a presentation in the meeting how he was implementing the e-file system in his department.
