Ashish slams century as Jharkhand take three points

Ranchi, Jan. 24: The Group ‘C’ Ranji Trophy cricket match between Hyderabad and Jharkhand ended in a draw here on Saturday, with the hosts running away with three points courtesy a firstinnin­gs lead.

Opting to bat at the JSCA Internatio­nal Stadium Complex, Jharkhand amassed 556 for nine declared and then bowled out Hyderabad for 455 to take a healthy 101-run firstinnin­gs lead.

At stumps on the fourth and final day, Hyderabad were seven for no loss in reply to Jharkhand’s second-innings total of 189 for four declared.
