OBAMA’S SCHEDULE
The US President will call on President Pranab Mukherjee at 7.30 pm and attend a state dinner at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 8 pm on Sunday.
On January 26, Obama will go to Rajpath as the chief guest for the Republic Day in his armoured vehicle ‘The Beast’ which arrived in the capital on Friday morning and is parked at the Palam airport.
At least 30 truckloads of food items have been brought from the US for the President, his delegation and security officials.
Special rooms have been booked for dog squads which have arrived in the capital from the US to double-check the security arrangements at the Republic Day parade.
