Not invited to R-Day event, claims Kejriwal

New Delhi: Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday claimed the Centre has not extended him an invite to attend the Republic Day celebrations, triggering sharp reactions from the AAP and the Congress. “I haven’t got any invitation. If protocol says it should be sent, then they should have sent it to me. There shouldn’t be any politics over it,” Mr Kejriwal said. The BJP hit back by calling him “a bundle of contradictions” as the event was open to the common man.
