NARAYANA, THE MINISTER FOR LAND POOLING

Municipal Administration and Urban Development minister Dr P. Narayana is now known as the “land pooling minister”. The talk among officials in the Secretariat is that the minister is spending most of his time in the capital region with a focus on getting as much land as possible under the pooling scheme. A Telugu Desam leader said Narayana was living up to the expectations of his boss, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu who has given more importance to Narayana in the capital city project than K.E. Krishnamurthy who also holds the revenue portfolio.
