PHARMA CITY WORKS TO BE EXPEDITED
Hyderabad: The development of the Mucherla Pharma City must be taken up immediately, said Jupally Rao, the minister for industries, handlooms and textiles and sugar, Telangana state government. During a meeting on Thursday, officials informed the minister that of the 11,000 acres that are to be developed as a pharma city, almost 6,000 acres are in the forest area. The officers said getting a clearance from the department is very important. They also pointed out that alternate land areas have to be provided for development of forests. Mr Jupally Rao has asked the officials to identify the land for laying of approach roads to the Mucherla Pharma City. He has asked them to complete the tasks within a month and send the proposals to the Government of India immediately.
