CELEBRATION TIME FOR MUMBAI SIDE

-

Mumbai, April 30: Last time Mumbai Indians went into IPL match a day after celebrating the birthday of Sachin Tendulkar they came back with a much needed win against SunRisers Hyderabad. On Thursday, they celebrated their skipper Rohit Sharma’s 28th birthday.

“It will be great to win tomorrow. There is nothing better than winning. There was a small thing at house with family last night. It is important day for us, so focus is on the game,” said Rohit.

The hosts will be playing their second consecutive game at home after a gap of five days and Rohit felt the break was much needed.

“It is really important we have been on the road for a while playing cricket. Some of the guys have been playing for couple of months, it is necessary to be outside cricket to be fresh, rejuvenate and deal with comeback pressure. We were back to training on Wednesday,” he added.
