AJAY BAGS BIG ROLE IN SURIYA’S NEXT
Ajay has just started shooting for the film which is being directed by Vikram Kumar
Popular Telugu actor Ajay has bagged a big role in Tamil superstar Suriya’s next film which will release in both Tamil and Telugu. “It’s a very good role and the story is extraordinary,” says Ajay, who joined the shoot on Wednesday. Vikram Kumar, who made Manam and Ishq, is the director of this bilingual, while Suriya is the producer. “Vikram and I have been good friends since the days of Ishq. He kept telling me about this film for the last six months and he wanted to cast only me for this par- ticular character,” says Ajay.
He feels that the film will be a milestone in his career. “I am confident about this film and it will be one of the crucial roles of my career. This will also open doors for more Tamil films for me,” he says. Samantha is the female lead opposite Suriya in the film. “It’s a negative role. I can’t talk more about it,” he says.
The actor also has a few Telugu projects lined up. The first one is Jadoogaru, where he plays the villain. Naga Shourya is the lead actor. Interestingly, Naga Shourya and Ajay played father and son in their earlier film. “It’s funny. We fight each other and it’s a different subject and different film,” says Ajay.
He is also acting in director Harish Shankar’s upcoming project Subramanayam for Sale and in director Srivas’ film with Sunil.
