Jay Z’s private concert for Tidal users

Rap mogul Jay Z has decided to organise private concerts exclusively for Tidal users. The latest offering is being seen as yet another attempt to spark interest in the fast-failing music streaming service.

According to the rapper, the concerts will “feature songs that have never been played live, or haven’t been played in decades”. The B-Sides concert, starting in New York on May 13, will be performed at an undisclosed venue. The concert will also be livestreamed through the Tidal service.

And how do you get tickets? Tidal users will need to create and tweet a playlist using the hashtag #TIDALXJAYZ before the May 8 deadline!
