FLYING JATT TO TAKE OFF WITH SULTAN?

The film’s makers are in talks with YRF to unveil the trailer with Salman’s upcoming big release

Filmmaker and choreographer Remo D’Souza’s upcoming superhero flick A Flying Jatt, which stars Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez is all set to release this year. To give the trailer of the film a good push, the makers had earlier decided that they would be unveiling it along with the release of Udta Punjab, which was produced by the same banner. However, the plan was dropped at the last minute considering the controversy that Udta Punjab was dealing with, thanks to the censor board.

However, looks like director Remo has chalked out an interesting idea to replace the original plan. Both the makers and the director are now trying to club the trailer’s launch with the release of Salman Khan’s upcoming big budget venture Sultan. This plan, however, would require a ‘yes’ from both YRF and Salman himself.

A source reveals, “Remo will be meeting Salman soon to discuss this option and see if it’s possible. He feels that this would be a great way to give the movie a good push before its release. So a call will be taken by the makers of

Sultan soon.” As of now, the discussions for the same are seemingly being done by Remo as the film’s producer Ekta Kapoor has never worked with Salman and hence does not have a professional rapport with the star. Remo, on the other hand, had recently choreographed Salman’s

Bajrangi Bhaijaan dance number Selfie Le Le Re and he apparently is a good friend of Salman.

Another source adds, “If not in the start of the film, the trailer may be played post interval. For this to happen, the film-makers will have to approach the multiplexes directly.”
