-

Banjara Hills police registered a cheating case against rowdy sheeter Farah Khan and three others for allegedly seizing a car belonging to one Santosh of Yousufguda.

Santosh said that Farah took the car from his friend, and is now threatening him saying that his friend owes her money, and that she will not return the car till it is returned. Farah Khan denied the charges and said that Santosh had sold the car to one Mohammed two years ago.

P. Santosh Kumar, a businessman, in his complaint, said that in November 2014, one of his friends Chandu took his car (AP 28CB 0777) from him and gave him `1.5 lakh as surety. He promised that he will return the car and collect the cash after two months. After two months, when Santosh inquired with Chandu about his car, Chandu said that his friends Seshu and Ravi had taken the car from him, but Santosh did not know who Seshu and Ravi were.

Meanwhile, the firm that financed the car started searching for it as instalments were pending. A few days ago, the financiers’ agents saw the car near GVK Mall and they were told it had been sold to Farah Khan. Santosh, who came to know this, approached Chandu, who claimed ignorance.

Farah Khan also said that she had purchased the car.

Based on Santosh’s complaint, Banjara Hills police registered a case.

“We need to inquire how the car landed in her hands. We will summon all persons named in the complaint,” inspector K. Srinivas said.

Meanwhile, Farah Khan who was earlier accused in extortion cases said that she was falsely implicated in the case, and that even Santosh’s family knew that and had apologised to her.

“I have suffered for decades due to false cases and for naming me as lady don. I am a social worker and they are haunting me,” Farah said.

She said that Santosh had sold the car to one Mohammed two years ago without the knowledge of his family. He had handed over the RC of the vehicle, but did not register it in the buyer’s name.

A rowdysheet was opened was opened in Malkajgiri police station against Farah a decade ago. Now she has a sheet against her in Dabeerpura PS.
