Natotsav — The annual theatre festival of the Nishumbita group is being organised. A series of street plays, children’s plays and others will be staged. December 30, 5.30 to December 31, 9.30, Ravindra Bharathi, Saifabadp.
The Decathlon Suchitra New Year 10k Run is being organised. December 31, 6 am to 10 am, Decathlon, Kompally.
Christmas Morning
Walk — A Christmas Morning Walk through the heritage churches and cathedrals of Abids, such as St. George’s Church, St. Joseph’s Church and others is being organised by Hyderabad Trails. December 25, 7 am to 9 am, Meeting point: St. George’s church, Abids.
Christmaculous — A Christmas eve service is being organised, followed by a candle lit musical extravaganza and a play. December 24, 7.30 pm and 10.30 pm, Shilpa Kala Vedika, Madhapur.
Bad Santa — An adult story telling session for people above the age of 16, is being organised by the Tale Tellers Troupe. December 24, 4 pm to 7 pm, Phoenix Arena, Hitec City Phase 2.
A Magical Weave Under A Tree — An evening of Jadakoppulata story telling is being organised. Jadakoppulata is a folk art form which is a traditional platform for stories. December 24, 6 Pm to 7.30 pm, Our Sacred Space, Secunderabad.
The Last Laugh — A comedy review of the year 2016 will be performed by ‘Collective Funny Side Up’. December 25, 7 pm, G.P. Birla Centre, Adarsh Nagar.
Tree of Knowledge — A talk on human relationships with the help of laws of economics and physics will be held by Adi Babu. December 24, 3 pm.
One Last Time — A play about a Hindi film director will be staged by Jann Sanchar group. December 23, 7.30 pm. Ganga Margam — A repertoire dedicated to the mythological stories of Goddess Ganga through Bharathanatyam dance will be held. December 28, 7.30 pm.
A Christmas Carol — A play based on Charles Dicken’s classic story will be held. December 24 and December 25, 7 pm.
The Bald Soprano — A High Loop — An adaptation of the absurd play The Bald Soprano, the first play written by Romanian-French playwright Eugene Ionesco will be staged by Aham theatre group. December 29, 7.30 pm.
The above-mentioned events are scheduled to take place at Lamakaan, Banjara Hills.
