Abdul and Jayesh do well with the ball with five wicket hauls each
Aditya Mangat of Sri Chaitanya High School hogged the spotlight with an emphatic ton against Indus Universal School in the Brother John of God U-14 tournament being conducted by Hyderabad Cricket Association.
Aditya scored an unforgettable 128 runs while Ritvik was unbeaten on 62 to help their side chalk out an easy win. Sri Chaitanya made 273 for the fall of 3 wickets. In reply, Indus folded for 146 runs in which Tejas Haridas made a fighting 73. Rohit scalped 3 wickets for 5 runs for Sri Chaitanya.
Abdul was the star bowler for Don Bosco after picking 5 wickets and leading his team to victory over Little Flower High School, who were all out for 93 in 18.5 overs. Don Bosco successfully chased the target in 12.2 overs with the help of Shareef Pathan and Abdul Junaid, who scored 38 and 39 respectively.
K. Sai Sushant of Hyderabad Public School Ramanthapur fell short of his century by 4 runs as he led his team to 200 in 37.2 overs. Chasing, Vignan Vidyalaya were all out for a paltry 78. BRIEF SCORES
