Company worker killed in blaze

Hyderabad: One worker died and another injured in a fire accident at Sanjyam Pharma Company in Gagan Pahad early on Wednesday. Police said that the commpany godown caught fire due to short circuit from where the fire spread to the storage area of cylinders. Company workers Talari Shankar and Srinivas were trying to control the fire when some cylinders exploded and the godown wall collapsed. Shankar died on the spot. Srinivas was shifted to a hospital. Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud reached the spot and enquired about the incident with the management of the company. He said that the management has agreed to give about `15 lakh to Shankar’s family.
