ASSISTANTS DO ALL THE HARD WORK

- DC CORRESPONDENT

The autopsy procedure at hospitals has workers doing the cutting and stitching and embalming of the body while the doctors look at the parts and give their judgement.

Even in case of infected bodies, it is the workers who put their hands inside to check on the infected parts of the body.

A senior health official in a private hospital said, “The maximum risk is borne by these workers and in the virtual system this can be done away with. The doctors can just see through the scans and identify what is there inside the bodies.”
