In the first phase, Financial Redressal Agency to redress complaints being handled by IRDAI, Insurance ombudsman, and pension fund regulator.

After one year, FRA could be given power to redress complaints by retail consumers against financial service providers like mutual funds, etc regulated by Sebi as well as retail complaints that are handled by Reserve Bank and Banking Ombudsman.
