TELANGANA WOMEN SPIKERS IN QUARTERS

Telangana women’s volleyball team continued their good run to advance to the quarterfinals of the 65th Senior National Championships being held in Chennai.

The women team fired on all cylinders to blow Punjab away with a 3-0 verdict to march ahead in the tournament. The scoreline read 25-12, 25-17, 2520.

However the men’s team had to face disappointment in the play-offs as they were outclassed by Himachal Pradesh 1-3, with the score reading 22-25, 29-27, 23-25, 19-25.
