Hyderabad Bulls winning streak came to an end after Ranga Reddy Raiders outclassed them by four points in the in the ongoing Telangana Premier Kabaddi League, which is being played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Hanmakonda, Warangal — organised by Telangana Kabaddi Associatio­n.

Despite leading the first half with 17-15, Hyderabad could not keep up the momentum in the final half and thus lost a close encounter to Ranga Reddy. The final scores read as 30-34.

Ranga Reddy’s Selva Mani and S.K. Ameer were adjudged as the Best Raider and Best Defender respective­ly.

The another match between Khammam Cheetas and Karimnagar Kings also turned out to be a close encounter in

Hyderabad Bulls were leading the first half with two points but lost the momentum and ended on the losing side. Ranga Reddy’s Selva Mani and S.K. Ameer were named as the Best Raider and Defender respective­ly

which the former emerged as the winner.

Khammam trailed Karimnagar in the first half with 15-18. However, they pulled up their socks in the second half and came hard at their opponent to clinch a nail biting victory with a score of 35-32.

Mallesh of Karimnagar Kings was named as the Best Raider of the match while Md Ahmed of Khammam Cheetas earned the Best Defender award.

Meanwhile, in the match against Siddipet Stallions, Hyderabad changed the complexion of the match which was turning out to be a close encounter between both the teams. The first half ended on a 15 each score.

However, in the final half of the match, Hyderabad turned the tables on Siddipet and clinched the victory with a five points difference over the latter. The final scoreline read 28-23.

Siddipet’s Supriyo was adjudged as the Best Raider of the match while the brilliant defending throughout the match helped Hyderabad’s Pradeep Kumar to earn the Best Defender award. In the another match, Khammam Cheetas faced their second loss in a row as Gadwal Gladiators outclassed them with a margin of 11 points.

Gadwal ended the first half with a leading score of 15-12. In the second half too, Gadwal didn’t allow Khammam to make a comeback thus finishing the game with a final score 33-22.

Gadwal Gladiators Mallikarju­n and Sri Krishna Sagar were awarded as the Best Raider and Best Defender respective­ly.
