CHAT RECORDS SHOW DUO USED ABUSIVE WORDS (DOG) AGAINST CBI

Sleuths who cracked the Blackberry Messenger Chat data between accused meat exporter Moin Qureshi and industrial­ist Pradeep Koneru shows the two had frequently used abusive words against the CBI.

In a message sent on April 16 in 2013 by Pradeep Koneru to Moin, the former said, “Hyd dog is coming to Delhi same flight as dad.” He further asked, “Ý do you think dog coming there if boss not in town?” There are several messages of Pradeep Koneru and Madhu Koneru, which showed they were trying to meet CBI chief AP Singh between April 21 and 24. Another message read, “Good morning sir did K speak to U regarding Madhu issue or something else?”

Yet another message on April 30 from Koneru Pradeep to Moin reads: “Sir PIL for keeping JD in Hyderabad was dismissed. So dog has to leave in June. The court said that it was not worth entertaini­ng.”

On May 14, another message said, “Dog is expected to leave on 12th”. “Dog going off tomm. Handing over charge to Aurnachala­m JD Tamilnadu as additional.” The messages revealed that Pradeep also tried to meet the then In-charge JD.

In a message in 2012, Moin Qureshi and one Rajesh Sharma interacted on the sanction of prosecutio­n of public servants including on T. S. Narayanasw­ami, exchairman of Bank of India.

There were several exchange of messages in 2013 September between Qureshi and AP Singh. In 2013, May, several messages were exchanged between Satish Sana of VANPIC group of companies and Moin Qureshi. Vanpic of Nimmagadda Prasad was named as accused in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s quid pro quo investment­s case.

Satish Sana said in a message to Qureshi, “Gold stone Prasad claiming her that his friend coming from Mangalore as JD. Please chk sir. This Prasad is not a fair guy ... My Hyderabad office will send `7.7lakh cash tomorrow to Delhi.”

There are several messages from Raghini Brar, daughter of AP Singh and Moin Qureshi. In a conversati­on related to money, she replied, “Thanks so much Moin uncle Your making so much rich.”

Conversati­ons between Moin Qureshi and his employee Aditya revealed payments from Pradeep. “Received 1 from Pradeep” said a message on 2012 November 3. Several messages showed money receipts ranging from `15 lakh to `60 lakh from Pradeep and Satish.

ED said the BBMN messages and intercepts showed that top government functionar­ies like AP Singh were in touch with Qureshi.
