Close on heels of Madhya Pradesh panchayat raj minister Gopal Bhargav tipping off brides at a mass marriage programme on how to tackle tipsy hubbies, a woman in a MP town clubbed her drunkard spouse to death.

Sunita Singh, 41, resident of district of headquarters town of Khargone, hit her husband Ram, 47, repeatedly till he died following a tiff with him, police said.

Mr Bhargav had presented 700 mogris (wooden bats used for washing clothes) to newly-married couples, asking them to use them if their husbands took to alcohol.
