Sirisha’s boss, her friend arrested

Two days after the death of beautician Sirisha, Hyderabad police has arrested her employer V. Rajeev Kumar and her friend B. Sravan Kumar, a realtor, in connection with the case.

Sirisha allegedly committed suicide. Sub-inspector of police Prabhakar Reddy was accused of molesting her and took his own life a day later. But it appears that he was not the only one. Rajeev assaulted her several times on a trip to Hyderabad. Police believes that Sirisha ended her life because of abuse from the three men.

According to the investi- gation, Rajeev was in a relationsh­ip with Sirisha but had started seeing another woman, an HR manager in a software firm named Tejaswini. On May 30, after finding out about the relationsh­ip between Sirisha and Rajeev, Tejaswini came to their office and tried to attack Sirisha.

Rajeev called the cops and Banjara Hills police counselled both sation sent a WhatsApp message to her husband indicating her Google map location at Kukunoorpa­lly. As the sub inspector continued to prompt Rajeev and Sravan to go to sex parties but Tejaswini, continued to threaten Sirisha over phone.

The third suspect, Sravan, knew subinspect­or Prabhakar Reddy and introduced him to Sirisha and Rajeev. The SI had put in a word with the Banjara Hills police. Meanwhile, Sirisha’s relatives continued to allege that she was murdered. They alleged that the police was cooking up stories and defaming her.

Even after Sirisha started crying for help after the sub inspector tried to molest her, the sub inspector asked the duo to approach sex workers, police officials said.
