Hyderabad: City-based online doctor consultation startup DocOnline, which was officially launched on Wednesday, plans to hire 250 people by the end of next year as it eyes quick expansion across the nation. Speaking to the media, COO Rahul Paith said, “The response, even at this early stage has really surprised us. We already have managed 10,000 subscribers for our platform even before our formal launch.” When asked why they selected India to start their business, CEO Markus Moding said: “The healthcare industry is quite nascent in the country and is expected to grow quite rapidly.” The company, currently 40-member strong, plans to increase its staff strength 250 by next year. It also has its eyes set to expand into a second city after October. The company has 20 doctors for consultation for now.
