Big data analytics meet on Dec. 12

Hyderabad: IIIT- Hyderabad is all set to host the prestigious international conference on big data analytics, starting on December 12. The conference is a four-day event on computing paradigms, analytics, cyber privacy and algorithms and will showcase researches by students. Social media contents and electronic medical records generate data at a large scale which is difficult to manage using the traditional database technologies as the issues of volume, heterogeneity and privacy are increasing at an alarming rate. The first BDA conference was held in New Delhi, 2012, a collaboration between the University of Delhi and the University of Aizu, Japan.
