RESTRICTIO­NS DUE TO IDOL MOVEMENT

In view of vehicles flocking Dhoolpet to transport Ganesh idols, traffic police has ordered restrictio­ns on the movement of vehicles to prevent congestion on roads. The restrictio­ns will remain in place from 8 am on Sunday to 8 pm on Thursday.

Gandhi statue, Puranapul, will be the entry point for vehicles meant to carry Ganesh idols and Bhoiguda Kaman crossroads will be the exit route.

General traffic from Puranapol or Jummerat Bazaar heading towards Asifnagar or Aghapura via Mangalhat will be diverted at Gandhi statue, Puranapul, towards Jhansi Chowrai/Takkarwadi, Ghodeke-khabar, Aghapura.

General traffic from Asifnagar and Aghapura sides headed towards Puranapul or Jummerath Bazaar via Mangalhat will be diverted at Bhoiguda Kaman crossroads towards Aghapura, Ghode-kekhabar and Jhinsi Chowrai/Takkarwadi.

General traffic coming from Darussalam intending to go towards Puranapul via Mangalhat will be routed via Panmandi, Ghode-ki-khabar, Jhinsi Chowrai and Jumerat Bazaar.

Lorries and mini-lorries coming to transport Ganesh idols will be allowed to park vehicles at the Jummerat Bazaar ground. They will be allowed to load the idols only after midnight at Dhoolpet from Gandhi statue, Puranapul.

Auto trolleys and cars from Puranapul/Jummerat Bazaar side for purchase of idols should park their vehicles at 100 Feet Road, leading to Kamela, Jiyaguda.

Vehicles coming from Asifnagar and Darussalam can park vehicles on the Seetharamb­agh temple and walk to purchase idols.
